Fellow humans,
God does not plant ideas within us because He wants us to build an idea graveyard. Rather, He wants us to bring our ideas to life and build something to represent His divine image, which is exactly what I’m trying to accomplish.
As some of you may know, I have been reading the Bible for about 30 minutes every day (almost always in the morning) since 2020. I do not skip, and I do not find excuses, because 30 minutes is only 2% of 24 hours. Reading the Bible, Old and New Testaments, ten times in four years is the least I can do for my Creator.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus, said in 2 Corinthians 11:30-31:
“If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is to be praised forever, knows that I am not lying.”
If God were any less merciful, then I would have been smote from existence a long time ago. My sins are too much of a burden for me to survive, let alone carry, which is why God came to earth in human form and sacrificed Himself.
Understanding the Bible puts sin into the realest perspective. The Bible, for the most part, tells us exactly what constitutes a sin, especially by way of the Ten Commandments. Therefore, when I say my sins should have had me sentenced to death, I’m being serious and I don’t need anybody trying to sugar coat reality.
His love and power really shines as I evade the death penalty through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Because of Him, I have the opportunity to live freely and with a clean slate. Of course my sins will be remembered by many, but by His grace, my sins have been forgiven, and I can enter Heaven someday.
Our weakness gives Him the perfect opportunity to be glorified.
God has no limitations, and there is nothing outside His reach. He chooses to utilize His unlimited power not to destroy His fatally flawed children, but to spare and uplift His Creation. If that does not deserve glory, then nothing does!
Hopefully by now you can tell that I’m a firm believer in the concept of boasting in weakness, which Paul has wisely revealed to us. However, being a writer and wordsmith, of course I want to understand the concept in my own words.
Then “Flex My Flaws” was born.
Back in January, an interesting chain of events occurred, which lead me to being blessed with the idea of building my own clothing line to represent Flex My Flaws. However, I didn’t see any valid reason to establish my own company, so I reached out to my friend Marnae, who has already made six years of progress into running her own clothing brand, called Wolves + Legends.
We sat down for a chat about a potential collaboration, and she was on board.
Her and I have been quietly and diligently working together for the past six months to bring my idea to life. The day has finally arrived. Without Marnae, my idea might have ended up in the all-too-familiar idea graveyard.
And just because my design has an underlying Christian theme does not mean Wolves + Legends is now a Christian clothing brand, but Marnae’s kindness and willingness to share her spotlight is certainly worth following.
The all-new Wolves + Legends summer collection is now available for a limited time on the official website at wolvesandlegends.com.
Feel free to browse our various designs and if you see something you like, treat yoself!
Until next time,
Sal Norge
