Lazy Body
SALtoshi Whitepaper #222
Fellow humans,
Yesterday, my Pastor Matt Singo gave me an opportunity to speak with our local body of Christ about something that’s been stirring with ferocity in my heart and soul since June, so I made a video (yesterday) to further spread the message.
All glory to God for the work and growth that I’ve been experiencing.
Calling ourselves “Christians” is not enough. It’s never been enough. It will never be enough. We are called to be disciples of Jesus Christ. This means we have a responsibility to pick up our crosses daily and follow Him. It’s not supposed to be easy! However, He’s equipped us with His word and The Holy Ghost.
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?” Matthew 16:24-26 (ESV)
We all struggle and fall short of the glory of God. It’s just part of being human in a fallen world. Jesus made one thing clear though—it’s less about how we start, and more about how we finish. Whatever you struggle with, He can save you. And whatever you need help with, we can (and should) help each other.
Do not hesitate to seek a better life.
Until next time,
Salvatore Norge
