Fellow humans,
We shouldn’t be afraid of moving on. For me, God has blessed me with opportunities to let go of certain things, and none of those things seem to have an actual hold on me to prevent me from succeeding. For others, faith in God might not be their lifestyle, but either way, life gives us second chances. And third, fourth, fifth, etc.
Everybody knows people who “should” have been dead years ago. They’ve made countless mistakes. Huge mistakes. Not sure how their body is still functioning mistakes. Still alive though. On the other hand, seemingly random children end up dying from disease. We truly never know what the future holds for us, which can be scary. Being afraid is ok. Being paralyzed by fear is not.
The past always seems to have the potential of haunting us in some major way, which is no fun dwelling on. However, maybe we’re truly “off the hook.” Maybe we’ve been given another chance (by the grace of God or life) to start fresh. How would we know? We don’t and we won’t because we can’t. None of us tiny humans can predict the future with certainty. Leap of faith for the win?
I’ve noticed people have been talking about mediums lately. Possibly for guidance, but I’m not sure. We don’t like the unknown, do we? Makes us anxious and uneasy. Instead of wanting to predict the future, what if we put on our shields of optimism and strength, and embrace the unknown? Cowardice is not being afraid, but being afraid while lacking the courage to overcome our challenges.
Until next time,
Salvatore Norge
P.S. — Not sure if I’ve been coming off as an idiot lately 😂 writing blog posts after midnight hits different.
Good to hear words of encouragement.
