Fellow humans,
Quick update before the weekend, and before the market becomes a full-blown circus again.
Bitcoin not blockchain.
Bitcoin not crypto.
I understand people are buying other crypto assets. Been there, done that. Free will and ignorance are such beautiful parts of life. However, I’m not here to help people dig their own financial graves. Bitcoin or nothing for this guy.
Seems like we’re on the edge of another intense bull run. I won’t be surprised if bitcoin doubles to $100K within a couple of months. At the same time, no humans know what the future holds, so I’m optimistically cautious. All I have is knowledge and market sentiment giving off positive vibes, but could be a false alarm. Only time will tell.
Many people are probably going to be foaming at the mouth to buy bitcoin for the first time at some point in the next year. Greed is real. Many risks come with being a first time buyer. I have some down time during nights and weekends, so feel free to send your family and friends my way if they have questions or concerns.
Please send only your close family and friends whom you trust. Lastly, I’m not here to convince anybody to buy bitcoin, so please don’t send anybody who is not ready to pull the trigger. Hesitation has no place here.
A few common mistakes:
Buying bitcoin from Robinhood, Paypal, or any other exchange that does not have the withdrawal feature. If you cannot withdrawal bitcoin to another wallet, do not buy from that exchange. Not your keys, not your coins.
Buying bitcoin from another person — unless you fully trust them, or have a trusted escrow. Plenty of scams, especially on social media. Don’t become another victim.
Last but not least, and my favorite — buying bitcoin at the local top, and then selling at the local bottom! If you bought at $64K in April, and then sold at $29K in July, you’ve likely felt the pain and regret. Patience is a virtue.
Two essential traits are conviction and emotional intelligence. Education leads to conviction, no way around the mountain. We should understand what we’re buying before buying. Emotional intelligence means to avoid acting on FOMO (fear of missing out). Bitcoin is not going anywhere, except the moon! For real, bitcoin will always be available for purchase, so don’t panic buy. Be methodical.
“As the number of users grows, the value per coin increases. It has the potential for a positive feedback loop; as users increase, the value goes up, which could attract more users to take advantage of the increasing value.” — Satoshi Nakamoto (February 18, 2009)
Until next time,
Salvatore Norge
P.S. — Tomorrow is my one year anniversary of leaving the military. Many people showed concern that I was setting myself up for failure. Never apologize for being dope.
P.P.S. — If any Veterans want to discuss the situation in Afghanistan, feel free to let me know.
